The founding principals have a long and successful history of working together. Nick, Prad and Matt worked together at Morgan Stanley. Matt was a founding, senior managing partner of Madava Financial LLC, in May 2017 which operated an identical strategy.

Matt Farlow
Australia (Sydney/Brisbane) (CIO/CREDIT RISK ANALYSIS)
Mr Farlow has been in the credit and lending markets for over 20 years, who was most recently the CRO / CIO of Madava Financial. Matt was a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley, having joined in 2001, most recently holding the position of Global Head of the Commodities CVA division. In this capacity, Matt traded a global credit, commodities and FX / interest rate book. He also approved and managed all credit risk within the lending and derivatives portfolios. Matt chaired the Commodities Direct Lending Committee as well as being a member of the Commodities Management Committee.

Nick Croom
Australia (Sydney) (RISK MANAGEMENT/ORIGINATION)
Mr Croom has an extensive 30 year career in commodity markets across London, Singapore and Australia where he specialized in physical and derivative commodity markets. Nick worked with physical trade houses (Glencore and Sempra Energy) and International Banks (Morgan Stanley and BNP Paribas). Nick’s most recent responsibilities in Morgan Stanley included all aspects of operations and management of a diesel import terminal, board of directors of a ship bunkering company and working with the investment bank in many high-profile M&A commodity transactions across Asia Pacific.

Prad Mazumder
Singapore (STRUCTURING & SYNDICATION)
Mr Mazumder worked for Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch and Standard Chartered in a career spanning over 25 years in the Asia Pacific Region, deploying in excess of US$3.7 Billion in the natural resources sector. His extensive experience includes origination, structuring and distribution of both physical and financial commodity transactions. Prad has been responsible for closing several landmark transactions in the energy sector. Prad earned an Engineering degree from Indian Institute of Technology and post graduate education from Cass Business School & Oxford University.
